Almost nothing in a travel kit is built to a different shape for men. So rather than repeat the shelf back at you, here is a whole kit with every published weight added up - and the one item worth cutting.

A complete carry-on-only kit on published weights totals 5.29 lb: an Osprey Farpoint 40 (3.27 lb), a hanging toiletry bag (0.66 lb), a travel pillow (0.56 lb), a 32 oz bottle (0.39 lb), a cable organizer (0.24 lb) and an RFID travel wallet (0.174 lb). Almost none of it is gendered — the exception is the pack’s harness, and that is about torso length, not about men.

What is genuinely different, and what is a colorway
We read what each maker actually publishes. Across a full travel kit, one category publishes a genuinely different specification by sex, and it is the one nobody markets that way: pack harness geometry.
Osprey publishes the Farpoint and the Fairview as the same bag with different harness geometry — the Fairview built for a shorter torso and narrower shoulders, with an adjustable torso length. That is a fit specification, not a gender one, and plenty of men fit the Fairview better. The two harnesses compared.

What we deliberately left out
Compression socks are the obvious omission. They are a genuinely useful item on a long-haul flight and the grade matters more than the brand: the over-the-counter travel grade is 15-20 mmHg, and a 20-30 mmHg sock is a firm medical-grade product you should not pick simply because the number is bigger. Skip this one. The one item in this kit we would cut. Peak Design publishes it at 1.2 lb for 2 L — 19.2 oz, which is more than the toiletry bag, the wallet and the cable organizer put together (17.2 oz), to carry cables. The BAGSMART electronics organizer publishes 0.24 lb for a similar job, a saving of just under a pound on an item nobody notices until they weigh the bag. Buy the Peak Design if you want the origami interior and the lifetime warranty; do not buy it if you are counting the total.
Fifteen published interior pockets in 2 L, under the only lifetime warranty in the organizer category — and 1.2 lb, which is heavy for what it is.
